Built for the Front Range

A roof made for Colorado weather

Hail season along the Front Range usually runs from late spring through late summer, and Colorado Springs gets its share. That's why a lot of homeowners here pick Class 4 impact-resistant shingles. Some insurance companies give a discount for them, so ask your agent.

Re-roofs in El Paso County need a permit from the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD). We pull it and handle the inspection for you.

As a GAF Master Elite contractor, 3G can register GAF's enhanced system warranties, which only certified contractors can offer.

Questions

Roof replacement FAQs

How long does a roof replacement take?

It depends on the size and pitch of your roof and the weather. We'll give you a schedule for your roof with the estimate, and we'll keep you posted by phone and text if weather moves it.

What shingles do you install?

GAF Timberline HDZ with LayerLock, plus Class 4 impact-resistant shingles for more hail protection. We'll go over colors and options with you before you choose.

Do I need a permit to replace my roof?

Yes. In El Paso County, re-roofs need a permit from PPRBD. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection as part of the job.

Will my insurance pay for a new roof?

If hail or wind damaged your roof, your policy may cover it. Start with a free inspection and we'll tell you straight whether we see storm damage. See how hail damage and insurance claims work with 3G.

What warranty comes with a new roof?

Your shingles carry GAF's manufacturer warranty, and as a Master Elite contractor we can register GAF's enhanced system warranties. We'll walk you through the warranty options for your roof with your estimate.

Do I need to be home during the install?

No. We'll stay in touch by phone and text, and walk the finished roof with you at the end.
